BUILDING LIVES & A COMMUNITY AROUND CHRIST
Looking for a place to belong? Yearning for a community that will not judge? Do you want more than a Sunday morning show? We pray that our worship and fellowship inspire us to take positive action out of our love for God and neighbor. If these are things you want, we hope you will find them with us. In worship, we follow the liturgical year, preach from the Common Lectionary, and serve Holy Communion to all who desire it each first Sunday of the month. And yes, there are always cookies after worship.
Having a good foundation of community is extremely important. Forest Grove United Methodist Church is seeking to build strong, supportive, Christ-centered programming for the nurture and support of children, youth, and families. Looking for an intergenerational congregation? We are babes and boomers, millenials and matures. Perhaps we can become the extended family that you crave.
A healthy church gives of its time, talent, and treasure. We have many opportunities to take action and make positive change, including tending a vegetable garden that feeds hungry people, providing food for underfed elementary students, packing Christmas baskets to bring joy and love to needy families, and hosting homeless families in our facility as they work toward the security of their own home. Maybe we can offer you a way to help others that will transform the world -- and you, too!
