July 4th Parade
Our nation turns 250 years old on July 4th. The Westside Churches for the Common Good (WCCG) have registered to walk/ride in the Hillsboro July 4th parade, and we have been invited to participate. There are a couple of ways that you can participate:

- Donate candy. Please bring by the church office M-Th between 9 AM and 1 PM.
- Decorate and make posters. The date for this work is to be determined.
Why are we doing this? Our communities deserve a Christian witness that faithfully reflects love of neighbor, gratitude for our communities, peace, well-being, and a public witness that is loving and inclusive. Our presence will be loving and peaceful, representing our faith. I hope that you will participate in at least one of the ways mentioned above.

Growing Baby, USA – Tuesday and Thursday at 1-3 PM at FGUMC
Forest Grove UMC is proud to announce a partnership with Growing Baby., USA, a non-profit program that provides free clothing, shoes, and toys to support the needx of growing babies with no financial restrictions. This program is located in Room 7A at Forest Grove UMC. It is open Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, or by appointment. We are currently looking for volunteers to help sort clothing and other donations before they are offered to families.
