SPRC has been in contact with Wendy Wordworth, our district superintendent, concerning our search for a new pastor. SPRC has sent her some ideas of what we are looking for in a new pastor. She responded saying that with Bishop Cedrick and the cabinet, she will be discerning options for FGUMC, including a full-time person in combination with FGUMC and another congregation or possibly a half-time appointment. It is too soon to know what option would be best. We should hear something in February or March.
